Notice the areas near the top and bottom of
the bright circle.  This photograph was
taken during a training exercise and
demonstrates the use of fluorescent
photography.  The illumination source is an
Alternate Light Source (ALS).  The
fluorescing areas at the top and bottom are
seen as a result of various substances
fluorescing when subjected to various
wavelengths of light
