| Surface plays a huge part when interpreting bloodstain evidence. Notice the spines radiating outward from the perimeter of the bloodstains. Once the blood droplet impacts the rough concrete surface, it causes the bloodstain to break up, forming the spines. The bloodstain must take all factors into account when examining the bloody crime scene. |
