This latent print was developed
on vinyl siding of a residence
that was broken into.  The point

This very small piece of
evidence was found at the
scene of a Robbery.  Other
similar shells were found near
where witnesses place the
suspects prior to the crime.  The
crime scene investigator must

Surface plays a huge part when interpreting bloodstain evidence.  Notice the spines
radiating outward from the perimeter of the bloodstains.  Once the blood droplet
impacts the rough concrete surface, it causes the bloodstain to break up, forming the
spines.  The bloodstain must take all factors into account when examining the bloody
crime scene.
